Excuse the messy vanity area... I'm a woman, give me a break!
The above pictures were at 32 weeks. The picture below with Duke, our Doby, sticking his skinny little face in the picture, is the very last belly photo I've taken, and that was the night before I turned 33 weeks.
Lets see... I'm pretty much all belly (and boobs) and my belly really isn't even that big compared to all the belly's I've seen at 33 weeks. But don't think that I don't feel 10x bigger than I really am, because I definitely do.
Staying seated too long gets so uncomfortable. Standing too long gets unbearable. Walking too much is PAINFUL in so many places. My body just feels like its on the verge of breaking down.
I've mastered "the waddle" and I hate it. I feel like a walking, talking balloon.
My pelvic bone feels like it's about to break! All day, every day.
I guess you can say I'm to that point where I'm ready for pregnancy to be over.
I'm not too "afraid" of birth itself. I'm actually ready and excited. I'm more afraid of the healing time and postpartum. I don't want to experience postpartum depression or anything like that. And I am praying for a nice and easy recovering as well.
Oh! Another thing, I AM SO TIRED! All the time. The funny thing is, I sit at home with the dog, all day, every day. So for me to feel like I've had 4 hours of sleep and a full work day, is ridiculous. I sleep about 12 or more hours a day, and still need a 2-3 hour nap later that day.
...Now the Braxton Hicks contractions, I got around 16 weeks. They lasted a good 4 or 5 weeks. They even got so bad that I went to the hospital for them. Then all of a sudden, they stopped. I think I've gotten about 3 or so lately since they first started up. Also, I've read that the baby may stop kicking so much and more "aerobic motions" but honestly, she kicks and twirls, and rolls, and punches, and just everything, all the time. Sometimes I swear she doesn't sleep. But I'd rather her move too much than not enough.
Well, let me stop rambling. I have 2 other posts to do tonight because I have so much catching up to do. One was our NYE night and the other an update on the nursery.
Hope everyone's holidays were wonderful!
