Crib Time!

Sorry for the pictures coming out so yellow, and well, just bad. My iPhone camera turns to crap in our house when it's night time. Everything is all yellow and gross. 

So I'm just now starting the nursery... Well, sort of. All I've really done is hang some clothes up and watch Carlos put together the crib :) which I must add, looks great! It's the Baby Cache Essential line. The dresser should be coming in in a few weeks. But I'm pretty sure the color is Espresso. 

I absolutely LOVE this crib. It's sturdy, looked easy to put together (since I watched and all), and the color is so beautiful. Really, the picture doesn't do it any justice. And it wasn't $500 like all the other ones I liked. It was around $380 and it also converts into the toddler bed. Now the dresser was a bit more expensive. About another hundred dollars. But remember, we live in Hawaii, so everything's price is jacked all the way up out here. Which is why I like to buy things online. 

Before the crib was put into place, we were kind of using that room to store everything 'baby.' The strollers were in there, the foldable changing table we got from a friend was just chillin in there, the car seat, etc. The Pack N Play didn't make it upstairs though. After a gruesome hour and a half of trying to put it together myself while the hubby was at work, I wasn't moving it until it truly needed to be moved. But, if it would've been put together upstairs, it'd be in the baby's room as well. I really don't know where we're going to put everything. We live in a cute little townhouse on military housing, so the house isn't too small but it isn't too big either. So hopefully there is a place for everything! 

But, I guess I'll start on nursery next week or so. Should probably get that done because I'm coming up on my 1 month left mark... that's scary... It's almost the second week in January already. (February 18th is my due date for those of you who've forgotten.) 

AND I'm waiting for all of my stuff to arrive that I got while visiting Texas for my baby shower. I have so many clothes, you would think I'm having twins. Yay for my mother going overboard on the clothes! (Really though, thank God. Now I don't have to worry about clothes.) 

And I'm waiting on Babies R Us to send me my shipment of last minute things I need. Besides the baby body care products and the nursing products for myself, I'm about done. Oh and a swing. But I cannot decide on a swing! It's driving me crazy! Every time I see one I might like, I read the reviews on it, and half the people like it, and the other half complain about it. It's like that with every single swing I look up. And the body products for baby, I have yet to decide on either! Obviously, the norm would be Johnson&Johnson or Aveeno. But I've read that California Baby is much better for them; but really, who wants to pay that much for those products? (Can you tell I look up and review everything?)  

So, we'll see. I'll start my reviews on everything I use on her when she gets here.
