Let me just get right into it...
Today I am 36 weeks pregnant, 3cm dilated, and 50% effaced.
YES, THIS IS HAPPENING!
So, I woke up this morning with a very sharp pain at the top of my uterus in the direct middle of it. I called my mom then the hospital after about an hour. Both told me to go in. "Better to be safe than sorry." Which came to be very true. They hooked me up and immediately noticed I was having contractions every 2 minutes. Doc came in, checked my cervix (which is painful as hell by the way) and came to the conclusion of 3cm dilated and 50% effaced.
That right there, scared the living crap out of me. I teared up, yes. It's scary! What do you expect?!
After about 3 or so hours, they told me I haven't changed at all and I can go home. This was both good news and bad. As much as I was ready for her to be out and me holding her in my arms, I knew she needed to stay in there a little longer. And, I was no where near ready to be in labor. But hey, who ever is!
Now, it's just the waiting game... She can come tonight, tomorrow, or in the next few weeks!
Well, that was my day! I'll update if anything changes!
